Bring Your Kid To Work Day!!!

Thursday, I got to go to Commerce Bank with my dad since it was bring your kid to work day. It was also customer appreciation day. Since it was customer appreciation day, they set up a big table by the entrance and near the lobby. They put 50 chips on the table at once. Then we had 4 different kinds of drinks. We had Sprite, Water, Coke, and Diet Coke. Also, we had candies that were cashews and almonds covered with chocolate. And you could get as much as you want for free! In the Board Room, they had activity packets for us to do when no one was getting anything. After about 3 hours of working, our moms and dads gave us a tour of the bank. It took about 30 minutes to do the whole tour. Then Tori's mom ordered pizza. While we were waiting for our pizza, we walked around the building and got money out of the ATM. Then we walked to next lane and put the money we got out, right back in. That took us about 30 minutes, too. When we got back, it was 12:00 pm and we decided to eat our pizza that had just arrived. After eating, we went back out and gave away more candy, drinks, and chips. At the end we gave away over 100 chips, and only had 5 drinks left and there were 2 coolers filled with drinks! People were hungry that day. Around 4:30, we closed up the table and put the coolers outside to let all the water flow out. They gave us goodie bags before we left. They gave us alot of things but my three favorite were my voided practice checkbook, my new special pen, and my chocolate coin with the commerce stamp on the front. I can't wait until next year when I go again. The End.
